Back in February I went on a modified version of the Atkins Diet. I say modified because I changed it and made it to fit me. I ate only 20-30 carbs a day (for the brain to be healthy) and only ate protein for the rest of my food. I ate one good meal a week of whatever i wanted. I splurged as a prize to myself. But I lost over 50 pounds. It was nice! I need to get back on it too. It wasnt hard once I started and was on it a while.
I ate salads with eggs, bacon, cheese, almonds, little dressing, etc. I would eat tuna salad. I would eat cheeses, beef jerkey, meat, veggies, etc. I also used to eat 'Carbo Lite' bars (that you can get at Walgreens) when I had a sweet tooth. I tried every kind of low-carb diet bars out there and they all sucked except for these. I highly recommend them!
