Diet Pills

My doctor gave me some literature to read about the diet pill Meridian (not sure of spelling) but I have seen the ads saying it may raise blood pressure. I need to lose weigh to help lower my blood pressure and diabetes but am concerned of the health problems the pills may create. Anyone tried this and had bad or good things to say about it? I took Tenuate Dospan about 20 years ago and lost 70 lbs. but gained it all back. Not even sure if this is still on the market but I did not have side effects from it.

Hello, I was on meridia about 2 years ago. I was on if for 7 months and lost about 50# on it, then one day at a dr. appt., they took my b/p and it was very high so I had to stop taking it. I continue to have high b/p. I'm not saying that it will happen to you, it may help you and you can continue taking it with no complications. I'm not taking anything now, but wish I could be on something to help me. I even considered surgery but it didn't work out, I guess I'll have to do it the old fashioned way...

hi i was on meridia and lost 30lbs in 4 mths but then i had heart palpitations and couldnt take strange thing though my heart rate never went up

i too am very overweight but recently lost 50lbs. I took apple cider vinegar pills 2 before each meal and they really worked.. hydroxcutt is also very good avaiable at wal-mart or kmart stores ..neither is real expensive and can be took together the only thing they do is make you have to urinate a lot they draw off a lot of fluid.. but they do work... and the vinegar pills make you feel good too try them........
