Hi Just Can't Wait

Welcome to this board

Good luck with your surgery! I hope all goes well for you during the surgery and recovery. And I hope it accomplishes everything you want it to do.

God bless
Kim

Hi just cant wait
first of all good luck to you, when's the big day? I had surgery Nov. 11 and am so glad that I did I know trying to change your eating habits are hard but some good news it does get easier. If you would like I can tell you some of the interesting things that have happened to me! In 11 weeks I have lost 65lbs, I eat normal foods except ones with sugar or high in fat, I very rarely get sick and best of all I'm pain free. Just a word of advice after surgery you need to get up and walk as much as possible to promote the healing process and make sure you use the incentive spirometer that they will give you to avoid any possibility of a lung infection. Make sure to take your vitamins and minerals and protein drinks to stay healthy. But most of all know that you will feel so much better. Best of luck to you I'll keep you in my prayers.
God bless Ren

Hi Trish, how are you, have you had your surgery? I had Vertical Banded Gastroplasty on May 9, 2002 and I've lost 128.5 lbs. so far and I'm so glad I did it. I would be happy to share my experience with you if you like. Take care, Terry
