pcos, clomid, pregnyl, iui#1

hello all! i've been reading your messages for 2 days now. u have answered a lot of my questions. i am 27 y/o with pcos. i'm on metformin x 3 months. this is round 3 of clomid. opk + day 22. estradiol 583 from 43 pre metformin. lh only 17.3. was given 10000 units pregnyl for an above ave size follie. had 1st iui next day (4dpiui). please pray and wish me luck. i tend to be a pessimist normally, but for some reason i am feeling optimistic about this. i think i O'd on my own shortly after the hcg. i had severe left abd pain during the u/s, follie was 23 cm. a few hours later, pain resolved (not completely) and i had a burst of blood tinged egg white mucous. never saw this before. looking forward to all your responses

Welcome! I'm pretty new here too, but everyone has been great.

Feeling positive is definitely a good thing! I know some people spot during ovulation (think I do at times), so perhaps that is what you saw... Somebody else may have a better answer
