Post IBS... INFO APPRECIATED

I was wondering what the symptoms of IBS are. Are there any symptoms that are prevelant to IBS or does it vary with everyone. Lately, within the last week, my stool has been thinner and smaller than usual. Also, sometimes I experience a stomach ache for no reason, but there is no pain, just a faint ache. I have been taking citrucel for 6 days, but still my stool is smaller and thinner. Any thoughts
I should note that I have lost 100 pounds in 6 months. No surgery, just hard work and calorie restriction.
Thank you

My symptoms are:
1) alternate between constipation and loose stools
2)abdominal cramps
3)bloating
4)thin stools (when I can go)
5)also when I go, I never can empty out completely

I know there are others. These are just mine. Read past posts. Supersarah has great advice. I am seeing if it works.
