do you feel my pain?

i have had three attacks in the past 5 months and they all start the same way. about 3 o'clock in the morning i wake up having to go to the bathroom. at first it seems normal but before i can make it back ti the bed ugggh- bloating gas and painful cramps!!!!!!!!!!!!!
then i feel nauseated. once i did vomit but other times i didnt. then diarrhea hits. if i can go to the bathroom i feel somewhat better, well for a few minutes, until the next episode. then after about a day it all slows down and eventually disappears,UNTIL next time.
if anyone else shares in this please tell me your story!

Sound like a virus that you're not getting over or the friendly bacteria in your intestines is out of balance.

I think you need to start eat a good brand of yogurt and take a probiotic supplement at bed time. PB-8, Kyodophilus , Flora Source and iFlora are all good. Probiotica from Wal Mart is also good.

what does yogurt do for this?
maybe i should go back to the doctor and see what he thinks.

My symptoms have been pretty much the same, only instead of 3am, it's at midnight! I've had IBS for about 8 years now, and I started vomiting with it a few months ago. I wish I was lucky enough to only have issues 3 times in 5 months though
