Post candida (yeast) in the intestines

Hello to all, hope you are feeling better. I am having some problems trying to rid the yeast i have in my gut...my symptoms of it are mucos, white, stringy and looks like pus, bloating, ill feeling, and brain fog. My doctor says its yeast with IBS. I tried the medications he gave me but they made me feel worse. Now I am looking for alternatives, or something natural. Would anyone know how to rid the yeast besides the candida diet with the antifungals? I tried them and i got very malnourished to the point of hospitalization. What can we IBS people eat? I tried veggies and fruits and stayed soooo bloated all the time, it was awful.

Hi potato,
You could eat yogurt with acidophilus every 3 or 4 hours. Also, take Probiotica 2 times daily for several days. You can buy Probiotica at most drug stores and even Wal Mart.It is the best I have ever taken for bloating and nausea!!!

There are some natrual anti-yeast remedies available at health food stores. But, as you may know Candida lives on sugar/carbs including fructose that is present in most fruit.

God Bless---Harry

potato59 I was wondering how you were feeling and if anything ever helped. I have heard many good things about threelac and seasilver, but haven't tried anything yet...doc thinks yeast overgrowth and doing more stool tests.

A good OTC remedy I bought online is Kolorex. It is an herb remedy that is patented in New Zealand. You take 2 Capsules once daily with food and it really has helped me. I also eat yogurt and take PB-8.

Candida is part of your system --it only when it is out of control that it gives problems. I think you have to go by your symptoms. I have not heard of any reliable test???
