Question Do I need a nephrologist?

I was wanting to ask if someone has a 50 MLS/MIN Creatinine Clearance with 135 mg/24 hour Protein level should see a nephrologist?

These were the results of the 24 hour urine test back in Oct. Blood work for BUN and Creatinine at that time were normal but the urine study showed the info above. I just had a routine Dipstick test on Dec 23rd to rule out a UTI and I had Protein of 15 mg/dl and was told about having pus? This is the same Dr that reviewed my 24 hour test results thinks I need to see a nephrologist if I get the same results back after having this test done again in early Feb with I see my primary Dr. I have never had protein show up in my dipstick ua before and now it is showing up. I do notice lately that I have many tiny bubbles off and on after I urinate. (I forgot to ask this dr about this when I saw him this last time.) Does that have anything to do with this? I have Interstitial Cystitis so I have had MANY UA's that have not shown protein until now after this 24 hour test but it has been about 4 months prior that I saw my urologist and had a UA done.

Please give me any thoughts on this.
Thank You, Mini
