infection?

I've had problems with reoccurring cysts on my ovaries in the past. For the past three days I've had a constant pain in the area where my right kidney is. Previous to this, I had some discomfort when urinating. I don't know if it is indeed a problem with my kidney or just back pain. It's tender to the touch and whether this is just coincidental or not it's been itching in that area too. Anyone have any suggestions?
I haven't yet been to see a doctor. If this pain persists I will.
