Question pee problems

i drink a lot of liquid daily and have for years now
along with this goes the frequent trips to the bathroom
to pee- it is so bad sometimes and often it is a lot
at one time-as bad as a russian race horse. does anyone know if it is just that the kidneys are over active or is it possibly a precursor to something else?
My sugar level was up but not out of range too much
and I have had no indication of sugar being in the urine.
