Hello, Can you be a little more specific? I have one kidney due to a birth defect plus other complications with it. I used to be very weak.

Hi, I saw your post under another list and would like to know if you have heard of vacterl association? It is sometimes called vater syndrome. You mentioned back, kidney and bowel problems which are included in vater syndrome.

v-vertebrae, back
a-anus, bowel (often including cloaca)
c-cardio
t-trachea
e-esophagus
r-renal (kidney) or radius
l-limb

Even if it is not vacterl (which is just an acronymn for a cluster of birth defects) someone from that group may be able to point you in the right direction. There is a very good support group online with many girls and women from babies on up. Try vaterconnection and go to the message board "mega", post your question and you will probably get replies very soon.

Good Luck!
