transplants

This morning I read in our newspaper that they will start selecting liver recipients from those who are most ill and in need instead of those who have accumulated the most time on the waiting list. How do you feel about this? I myself am awaiting a double lung transplant and wonder why they have not considered this for other transplants, such as heart and lung. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
