Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction

HI! I am looking for anyone who has been diagnosed with this problem. There is a procedure which can be done and I am just wondering what to expect. I have had pancreatitis once, when I had an ERCP. I expect to get it again. But I am wondering if this is normally successful. If anyone has experienced this procedure, please let me know! Thanks!!

My ten year old nephew had the procedure done. They put a temporary
stent in. It helped him for about eight months. He is now having problems
again.
