Red face This is wierd! Is this sluggish liver?

Hello to all,
I hope you all feel better soon...I have been taking antifungals to kill yeast in the colon...when yeast die, they let off a toxin/poison in our blood...the liver has to detoxify this..I slowed down on the antifungals because I was feeling severely nauseated with brainfog, and bloated abdomen....now my liver is sluggish so i believe from what i've read...even tho the doc did tests and said it was normal. The nausea i experience goes away when i drink milk thistle herb....(this is an herb to protect and cleanse the liver) But I just don't know how much of this herb to take, and the health stores are not imformative with this....Are there any other natural remedies to cleansing the liver? thanks

Hi, Yes , there is a supplement that is called the liver protector. It's called NAC or N-acetylcysteine. In its native form, it's a heavy metal sequesterant, strong lipid antioxidant, and the precursor for the amino acid Glutathione. It is used as a mucosal when pulverized and sprayed into the nose, and is used by the doctors by I.V. to detoxify the liver in cases of acetomenophene overdose. 600mg taken first thing in the morning about 1/2 hour before eating is totally adequate. I suggest this to all who take statins for cholesterol, and who take celebrex and viox. It does a good job for the kidneys also. God bless, Oldguy

To kill yeast in the colon without other damage, just omit all sugar and carbs from the diet a few weeks...that is what the yeast lives on.

Intoduce fresh acidophilus to the diet daily, but start slowly to avoid the possible but harmless gassy feeling.

You can reintroduce sugars again later, but slowly and back off if the yeast over grows again.
