liver cirrhosis

hi:
is there any treatment(herbal etc) for liver cirrhosis.patient had massive blood vomitings last year and this year he suffered from acute pancreatitis;is having gall stones also;he is not an alcoholic.

What a scary thing to be going through. The best advise that I can offer is "always consult the doctor" before experimenting with any herbs or other treatments on your own.
