Post Elimating meat brought down liver enzymes!

Just thought this was interesting.

For a couple of years my liver enzymes have been mildly elevated. No real cause found.

Recently had surgery and could not eat any meat for a couple of weeks. Had bloodwork done and enzymes had dropped considerably...first time in two years.

Could there be a relation between elevated enzymes and meat consumption?

I think this may be true. I have been eating more meat because i have to stay away from many carbohydrates due to diabetes. My liver tests keep elevating slightly. Perhaps this is why.
