Question Stopping HRT advice

I have just had my annual pap test and have been on HRT (Premphase) for approx. one yr. I have had a "period" each month and am tired of it. I am 57 yrs. old and don't want to do this the remainder of my life.
My dr. said I could stop the hormone, but would have symtoms come back, I'm hot all the time on the hormones anyway.

Any advice on vitamins, soy or natural hormone replacement? Someone suggested vit. E and calcium.

Anyone else had this bothersome bleeding?

Thanks
