While you are at it, research hypothyroidism. Many women have this condition with menopause.

I too had noticed that my feet were colder then they used to be. I read that in order to help fall asleep and sleep well that your feet should be warm. So I bought a large hot water bottle from this site- www.fomentek.com I got the large one and it is great. I put it in a pillowcase and put it on top of my feet or under. They have a good site. Hope this helps.

A great book on menopause is "Screaming to be Heard: Hormonal Connections Women Suspect and Doctors Still Ignore" by Elizabeth Vliet, MD. It's very thick, but it answered all my questions and covers everything, including thyroid. Very informative!
