Unusal Pain

I just turned 41 a few weeks ago and have started the wonderful perimenopause ride http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dizzy.gif and have all the classic symptoms, aniexty,brain fog, aches and pains, leg pain,headaches, acid reflux, etc..etc..I was just wondering if any else experiences back stiffness..my back seems to reall bother me about 10 days before my period, but I also get this wierd pain under my right rib cage, not really a pain but soreness, hard to describe, I have been to the doctor and had the gallbladder check, liver and spleen...everything was fine, I'm not sure if it is a muscle pull generating from my back and rapping around to the front rib, I work on a computer all day and at night when I come home, but it seems to get more intense around my period, but one month I have it and not the next. Does anyone have anything like this?

the only person i have known that ever told me about having rib pain suffers from psoriatic arthritis and multiple sclerosis

Dont have pain under the ribs but do get hip pain around that time - I put it down to ligament slacking off (which is probably quite incorrect!) but some months I cant stand, sit or lie down because of it. It has got marginally better since I lost heaps of weight, went on HRT and engage in quite significant exercise (walking).

hello Angela,how long was it before you felt any benefit from h.r.t,i have been taking it for 3weeks but dont feel much different yet.
