post trauma stress disorder...pleasehelp if you can

anyone on this board suffering for PTSD? it would be nice to be able to talk to someone who has it. I feel quite alone, like there is no one else that has it that can relate to what i am going through. Before they diagnosed me with PTSD, i was diagnosed as having anxiety/depression, which i thought that i could deal with cause many people have these disorders but now i've been given a rare label so feel completely isolated..........why me

A friend of mine has PTSD after seeing a friend lose his life - it's a horrible illness and I hope you find a good treatment that gives you peace of mind soon.
