Question Anyone tried Lexapro?

I'm concidering switching meds because I don't like the severity of the sexual side effects from Effexor. From the small bit of info that I've been able to find it looks like Lexapro doesn't have as strong of side effects.

Was just wondering if anyone has any experience with taking it.

thanx,
Zat

what may work for others may not work for you and visa versa. So no matter what you hear here, all you can really do is try it and see if it's right for you. I've been on it, but went back to celexa for I liked it better.

I've been on Lexapro for about two weeks. I was having tremors, difficulty sleeping, nausea, and muscle stiffness the first four days. My dose was lowered to 5mg. (from 10) and I haven't had any problems since. My mood is more stable, but I wouldn't say it was good, just yet. The anxiety is virtually gone and I haven't cried in a week after crying daily for six months or more. I am experiencing some mild sexual dysfunction. I'm waiting to see if it get's worse before I talk to doc about it. Good luck.
