Weight Gain From Antidepressants?

First of all, what meds are you on, what for, etc... I have gained weight from quite a few. It is a horrible game trying to find a medicine that works but doesn't cause weight gain. I will log back on this weekend and see what you reply. hang in there. coral

OCAngel, since i have been taking paxil i have gained about 25-30lbs. The company GSK at first didn't state anything about weight gain. Unfortunatly, they didn't state of the withdraws either nor the suicide thoughts. These compaines will lie and lie and lie. So in all fairness i think you can assume that yes you have been lied to.

I gained 10% of my body weight in a month on Remeron - YUCK! I went off it soon after.

I did not gain or lose any weight on: Wellbutrin, Reboxetine, or Tianeptine.

I gained a pound or two but not much -- on Prozac, Zoloft.

I lost 15 lbs on Effexor and kept it off.
