notted and swelling muscles

Hi, I have a problem that i was wondering if anyone else are having or know of anyone.
My problem is that when i use my arm's, legs or back and even if i sit in a seat the wrong way. I will get sore and hurt in spots were i used what ever ( arm,leg,etc.) they look like welts but the size of grapefruits and stick out a half a inch. i have went to doctors and been through many test. and still no answer. i am hurting now on my arms and legs from work today. so please if know of anything let me know.

P.S i am on avonex but this has been going on since before i was dx.

so any answer would be great.

Hi, I have been reading this board for quite awhile now, and i have the same pronlem as you.I was beginning to think that i was the only one with this problem.Do you have ms?. I have been going through tests, and they havn't decided which i have md or ms. There leaning towards md. These knots are very painful. I am a new grandmom and she weighs only 4 lbs and where her head lays i get this large knot. I always have these large lumps on my thighs also there all the time.My arms and thighs are the worst. If i sit to long i get knots in my back and then i can't move . Does this sound the smae, if so you no the pain it entails. In fact i go to the drs today, and i don't know whats up as far as tests go this time, but as time goes i'm getting weaker all the time, my upper arms knots quite often and theres alot of pain that goes with this. I hope this helps making you feel that your not alone, what do these systoms sound like to you Hope
