Post Hi

Hi everyone. I've been dx'd rrms for 3 years now, my neurologist just prescribed Symmetrel for my fatigue. Anyone out there with any experience with this drug? I'm really hoping it helps me make it thru the day.... it takes all the energy I have to get thru my working day and there's nothing left over for anything else.

Thumbs up

Hi, Karen. Welcome aboard.

Fatigue has been one of my biggest problems. NeuroQuack tried Amantadine-- nut'tin. He next put me on Prozac. That helps. Trying to get him to script Provigil (Pro-Vigil.) Won't do it until the hand tremors die down. Never ends.

Hi Karen You speak about not having energy the best product I know to boost your energy level is microhydrin it works at the cellular level and is a non prescription item

Boy, Karen, do I EVER understand the fatigue. That and the heat sensitivity. I have been dx for a year. It DOES take all you have to go to work, and then come home and attempt to do anything besides collapse. My neuro rx'd Provigil, and I started on it yesterday. Too soon to be really sure, but I think it is helping. (Either that or being the weekend helps!). But, I am not having any weird reactions, like I feared---no nervousness or jittery feelings...I am also trying some dietary changes (Zone diet) and supplements for MS in general. Robert, I am not familiar with microhydrin, could you tell me who makes it, where I could buy it, or get information on it? Thanks! Rhonda

Thanks for your responses. I've been taking the Symmetrel since Friday and while I don't notice that I'm jumping around with energy, I do notice that I don't have that draggy, wiped out feeling that typically would start at about 2 p.m. I've also noticed something else which is GREAT - - I have no appetite! I am not hungry! If this keeps up I'm going to send my doctor a bouquet of flowers!!!
