Post Ataxia / 18 month old

Hi just seeking suggestions. I have an 18 month old boy. He developed ataxia at about age 1. He also looks like he has myoclonic jerks(head), and blepharospasm. He has tremor throughout also. He has had an MRI and a CAT both clear. Basic bloods - clear. An EEG - clear. and an opthamologist looked at him recently and gave him the all clear.
Just wondering if any one has any ideas where to go next, we are seeing a geneticist in a few weeks, but I dont hold much faith in medical people. I think if I keep looking I will find it eventually, and probably before the docs do! Any advice appreciated. If you need to ask any questions please feel free to. Thanks in advance! Cindy
