Hi Peter, I had an experience, well two, that I can lay out for you, and you can use to talk to docos just for general information.
A few years back I had a balance problem that was strange. No alcolhol or anything, but whenever I stood up and tried to drive, or walk, I would continouly bear into the right wall. No matter what I had my site on or wanted to go, I leaned right into the wall and pushed myself along, and away from the wall towards the goal, stumbling until I got there like a drunk.
When driving I had to brace my head into the neck rest to stop the feeling to aim and driveto the right, going to the right was the only momememt I felt capable of. Getting out of cars/busses amd walking, say to a mall, I would keep leaning towards thr right, hav to walk like a drunk in a rondabout direction to make it from the car to the mall.
Naturally, I went to my pcp and ***? He did a bunch of tests in his office; and told me I had some inflamation of the 7th Cranial Nerve. This got a *** is that from me.
He gave me a set of Medrol DosPac, about the only chance the had to cure anything viral. Take all the tablets in sequence and see how it goes. In my case about 2/3 days I was feeling a little disoriented, I could walk without very off to right, but still did't "feel" right for about 2 weeks.
Another fine thing that I live with is peripheral neuropathy; With me I have problems in the back and legs, but others have it in thier hands, arms, neck, and head . It may be worth you checking it out.
Once again, hope all have a pain free night,
