Post Could this be it?

Could a sore/stiff neck that pops all the time be causing my left thumb to shake and give me twitches all over my body? I'm hoping it's not ALS as I'm only 25, rare but not impossible. I've been having these things for about a week now and so far no weakness with them...Anybody have any suggestions?

It sounds like you may have a misaligned vertebae in your neck. It can pinch your nerves. It may have been caused by some accident you had previously that whipped your neck. You might consider going to a chiropractor. Or, if your family doctor is a D.O., he may be able to work with it.

It's best to get it cared for as soon as possible after it becomes misalligned. The longer you wait, the harder it is to get vertebrae back into position.

Question

Hi Chad, have read some of your posts on other forums,

It would be very likely that your brain is getting used to the lack of artificial chemical presents. It can take two to four months for our bodies/brain and nerve paths to get back to "normal" after discontinuing drugs/medications. We have to re-learn our natural chemical balances. Just as it takes a month or two to reach full optimization of anti-d's and pain meds, so too, it takes the same amount of time to cleanse ourselfs and return to "normal".

Please re-think going to a chiropractor for anything other than a massage. That "profession" has caused/complicated spinal injuries ad nauseum. Ask any Orthopod or Spiney Doc thier opinion of chiro's other than for treatments that increase blood flow to muscles/bones as in massages and stretches.

Hang in there guy, as people tell me, it will get better.........
