Post neuropathy

My husband is 53 he has diabetes,neuropathy,renal failure,congested heart failure.We talked to the Dr about heart transplants she said with his cigarette smoking history he woundn't be accepted yet I've read on the net thats not necessarily true any one knows anything about this info.Also he has 3 pressure sores we have been using saline wet to dry an regranax his one leg has an odor doesn't look good to me been seeing wound care dr for past year on weekly basis.Has any one had better treatment ideas we could suggest to his Dr.? thanks
