Hi. I did a lot of research on neuropathy on the internet just this past weekend. My mom is 66 years old and has it in her legs, and her doctor doesn't seem to be helping her. I found a site that told about a cream called Zostrix. I went to Wal-Mart and got her some and she said it really helps ease the pain. She was at a point to where she could hardly walk. She said the pain is still there, but much better. She said it's like a miracle cream!

Re: Any hebal information for neuropathy???

Zostrix is a miracle cream but I had a very bad experience with it....it was somewhat rare, I understand, but it caused me a lot of problems until it was determined that I was simply allergic to it. Your mom hopefully won't have any problems, most people don't but I had severe trouble breathing (it was even suspected I was having a heart attack at first), a cough, blurred vision, troulbe swallowing, vicious heartburn and a strange taste on my tongue. After discontinuing the Zostrix I was back to normal but it took about three weeks. Unfortunately, it really did help the pain in my foot from complications of a broken bone so I'm back to square one but not gasping for breath!
