Adderall/Pregnancy

I am 20 years old, and have been on adderall for 2, years. My husband and I are talking about having a baby. Am I able to become pregnant while on adderall? And if I did become pregnant would it be harmful to my baby?

I asked my doctor the same question and he said, it would be fine. He recommended when I got pregnant to try to do with out the adderall for the first 3 months but if i couldn't to ask the OB whatthey thought but there are pregnant women on it all the time. I would talk to you OB and your Dr out it. They told me I would be fine. Good Luck trying to have your baby. Remember trying is just as fun.

The drug interaction form with my prescription states only to take adderall when pregnant if necessary. It really is best to talk to your physician about it. Also, Adderall is traceable in breast milk. Something to think about. David
