I believe that Zoloft can be used for ADD. I have ADD and was on Ritalin for about 3 1/2 yrs. I eventually started to get Anxiety Attacks and one night I had a Tachycardia. The doctor that I was seeing gave me Prozac, which is similar to Zoloft, for my ADD. Prozac gave me more anxiety, so he was planning Zoloft. I have not begun taking it yet b/c I am still suffering from massive Anxiety attacks that I would attribute to the years of taking ritalin. Now I am on Clonazepam, to help with anxiety. Too make a long story short, my Dr. said that Zoloft could be used to treat ADD. Hope that helped.
