Hi,
I have osteoporosis and have read up on different medications.
In a book called,"strong women, strong bones". Evista is mentioned as having the added benefit of reducing the risk of breast cancer.
The one possible side effect noted in this book is blood clot. So that anyone prone to them should not take this medication.
I'm taking Miacalcin the nasal spray for osteo.
Have been taking it for about 2 months now. Haven't had any side effect.
To tell you the truth all of these meds. have possible side effects. So it is really up to us to decide what we will take.
Good luck,
Lisa
