Post ultram

What are some of the effects of long term use of ultram? I have been using this drug for about 6mos. I am not sure if it is causing my urinary problems. There are times when I can't urinate for several hours after feeling that I needed to. Has anyone taken this drug on the long term?.

Thanks, 12828rabbit

Question

i was not familiar with ultram..and i know about most of the meds for treating bone loss..when i looked it up on line i found that it is also know as tramadol and it is a pain reliever...i am wondering why you are asking your question on the osteoperosis healthboards..i am unable to take actonel and fosamax because they cause me to have urinary problems as side effects...are you taking ultram for bone loss..if you are experiencing any side effects that are not documented in the manufacturers literature..i would like to suggest that you get the toll free nmbr for the drug co and let them know of your experience with their product..they cant know something is problematic unless their users tell them...they may know of others who have had the same side effects you are complaining of.
