Post I could hardly believe this!!!!

A month ago I had a heel scan done at my GYN's office. The result was that I had severe osteoporosis. I was devastated!! My Doctor even wanted to send me to a Rheumatologist because the results were so bad. Instead, he sent me for a body scan. The results just came back. Normal. No bone loss. No compression fractures. Nothing.

Yes, I'm elated (although it's been such a stressful month). But I just wanted to tell you guys about this. Don't trust those heel scans, even if they are done in your Doctor's office.
