Evista

Is anyone out there having bad side effects to evista. I just started 3 mos ago and I have had more pain than before, in my legs and back and hips... I am now having Kidney problems, I'm not sure they are related to the evista, but I can't think of anything else. Does anyone have similar effects. I don't know what to do?

i just took my first evista today...so i hate to hear you are having those problems..im sure you have the literature that came with the rx...it says if you have sharp leg pain stop taking the med...also i dont see where kidney problems are listed as a side effect..why dont you call lilly 1-800-lillyrx...they need to know what users are experiencing...i had frequent urination and kidney pain from fosamax and actonel..and am so hoping that i dont have the same problems with evista..what type of kidney problems are you having? have you tired either fosamax or actonel, did they give you the same problem? good luck

I too am having severe leg pain as well as terrible hot flashes. some stomach pain also. I have been on Evista for onlt three weeks.

i am going on 4 weeks on evista ..so far so good i think..i had some stomach pain and gas last weekend..which ended up in diarrhea..but it seems to have passed now so i am hoping it wasnt related to the evista...so far i have no leg pain..but again,per the literature that i got with my rx..if the pain is severe you need to stop the evista immediately and call the dr...
