Has anyone ever heard of people losing their hair after being on Fosamax or Actonel for a period of time? I have been on Actonel for 3 months and I seem to be losing my hair. Not a lot of hair loss, but certainly enough to concern me. Thanks.

My mom (78) has been on Fosamax for over a year (maybe two...I need to ask) and has been complaining a LOT lately about losing her hair.
Have you learned anything more on this?
I haven't heard from anyone else re my hair loss question, but thank you for responding. Loss of hair comes with aging also, and I am 64 so maybe that's it, but I still have major questions about this problem.

I haven't noticed any hair loss yet and I have been on Fosamax for 4 months. I do wonder about the long term use of this drug however.
