pregnancy and adderall

I am currently trying to become pregnant, and I am also on 20 mg of adderall. Can adderall cause any damage to an unborn child, or prevent pregnancy?

My bottle says "talk to your doctor if you are trying to become pregnant" so it must can be taken. But I guess its safer not to take anything. But this is interesting, cuz I am trying to get pregnant too!

I took Ritalin while I was pregnant with my Daughter. I don't know if it would be exactly the same as adderal or not. The only thing that I noticed was I didn't gain allot of weight with the pregnacy. My Daughter is now 2 and seems fine, very smart! I didn't have a choice to go off of my meds because when I did a large amount of depression ect... began effecting the pregnancy. Was it the right decision to stay on the medicaton? For me I think so, I don't know if we would both be here without it. Good Luck and remember when you are asking about medication and babies, most people tell you to take nothing. Please weigh the pro's and the con's of meds while pregnant. Make sure your ob and your Psychiatrist are contacting each other about all that you are taking!
