Leathan, not knowing anything about Wilson's disease, I looked it up, It is said to be rare and is hereditary. It is caused by the body's inability to get rid of copper, and causes the buildup of copper to toxic levels. The one important thing I read, is if that is the problem, treatment should be started right away and if treated soon enough, all of the symptoms will go away and you could lead a normal life, but I have no idea what led Dr. L to mention this disease as one possibility. Please don't delay seeing a PD specialist.

Leathan-
SO good to hear you have set up an appt. with a specialist. A lot of people become discouraged after going to several doctors, even neurologists, and being told they aren't sure what's wrong and to take this certain drug and it ends up with null and void effects or terrible side-effects. One of my friends went to my doctor, who told him what his problem was and gave him medication different than what he had been on, told him that he could be helped, and to come back and see him in a month. It worked! He was so excited, he was able to drive himself, asked him questions he'd written down, and leave with a positive feeling for the first time in a couple of years! It always does my heart so much good to hear people finally getting the help they need and for them to feel hope again is a miracle. For without HOPE, we have nothing!!
