Anyone here ever got pregnant while on the pill??

I need to know what the chances are of getting pregnant while on the pill are. I am 5 days late for my period. I take the pill, but a few times last month I forgot to take it. I doubled up the next day (this happend three times)like the precription said to. I'm worried because I am never late. My husband and I never use protection. Please help!!

I believe your odds to get pregnant on the pill, if used correctly, are about 5%. Pretty high when you think about it, but then no birth control is really 100% effective... I am one of that 5% so I can tell you it is possible! Good luck, and take a home pregnancy test as soon as you can or see your doctor. I hope everything works out for you.

Yes, indeed, you could be pregnant. If you forget and double up more than once, you should have continued your pills as usual but also used foam and condoms for the rest of the cycle.

You should probably test and find out.

Princess Shana I am walking proof that you CAN get pregnant on the pill...of course I was on antibiotics...but it still happened. I am now 16 wks. 2 days pregnant...lord help me...

I am living proof that you can get pregnant on the pill, my daughter is 10 months old, and my Dh and I were definately not trying but she is a miracle none the less.
