HELP ME PLEASE!

ok, let me lay down the facts...
im 13 and a couple months ago i posted that i thought i might have a yeast infection and asked wut i should do about it...many people replied that i should tell my mom and then go to the doctor and even tho i REALLY didnt want to i did, mom told me to take some yeast infection med. but after that the rash went away but not the discharge,so my mom took me to the doctor.they said that it was a bacterial infection and gave me sum med. Ater i had taken it all it still hadnt gone away so my mom called and went to get some more but this time the doctor didnt have to see me, i juss finished it and it still hasnt gone away...i havent told my mom yet but im gonna ...so im getting really scared tht it could be somethin else really serious ... so i have a couple ?s i was wondering...

1. wut else could it be ?
2. if i need to go bak to the doctor is there any other way of finding out wut it is (cas i DO NOT wanna go thro that crap again!)
3. could wearing thong underwear be y it wont go away?

If it's a bacterium then it might be one that is resistant to some antibiotics. This may require you to try another sort of antibiotic or perhaps they will take a smear test to grow the bacteria and try and find out what it is. The doctor will probably need to see you again. Please try and stick with it. It's the only way you will get better. Everyone hates this sort of thing but it's not the doctor's fault.

You need to go back to the doc and have him/her recheck you. They may need to reculture the discharge to see what is going on. Also be sure you are eating plenty of yogart with live active cultures or using acidophillis capsules to help combat a possible yeast infection from the medications. Be sure you wear only 100% cotton underwear, do not douche, do not take tub baths with oils or bath products in it, use only soap and water to cleanse the area, be sure your jeans/pants are not to tight in the crotch and avoid tampons until you get this cleared up. It is most likely not something serious but just a stubborn infection or possibly a rebound type infection from the medications etc.
