Exclamation taking concerta with fruit juice

DON'T DO IT!!!if you are taking the extended release type of concerta, do not eat any acidic fruits before or after taking it. it causes your stomach to become more adidic and instead of absorbing the medication slowly, you will get a short 1-2 hour burst and then nothing. i found this out the hard way. i ended up failing half of my freshman year of college. because my body couldn't handle having so much medication in it at once it also caused me some severe side-effects: weight loss, loss of appetite, depression, insomnia.....the list goes on. however i am not against concerta, after i realized it was the fruit juices causing the problem and fixed my diet, it worked wonderfully.

It's amazing how something as simple as juice can cause an adverse reaction. Thank you for the info.
