Question sex and bc pills

I will have been on the pill (loestrin 20)for a month on saturday, the leaflet with the prescription said that i should wait a month before using only the pill as contraception. I had sex today (wednesday) and i've only been taking it for 25 days. Do you think/know if they say a month to be on the safe side or whether it is the actual minimum time before it actually works as contraception? Just wondering how likely it is that i'm pegnant! thanks in advance! x

Well, you are actully supposed to be on BC for a couple of months before you use it as conterception. (so your body can get used to it and what not) Well it is possible that you can become pregnant, but the most likely time is 14days in to your cycle. (does that make any since?) Well i hope that helps a little..

That may be untrue, my EX took her pill for a week before we started having sex, the information that came with her pills, said that it is effective after the first day of taking the pill. I am not a daddy so it worked :-). Doesn't mean you should start having sex after a dayo n the pill, but 25 days seems enough to have your body take effect to them. And BC pills are hormones, your body obeys them, your body doesn't have to get used to different levels of hormones, your hormones change all the time.
