Talking omega 3

Has anyone used omega 3 for add? I started giving it to my son and it seems to keep him calm and alleviate some anxiety. I give this along with b'calmed. We will see what happens for school

I am an adult with ADD was only diagonosed when I was 38. I have been taking fish oil for a couple of years now and it has allowed me reduce the amount of meds I take. So I feal give a try. Fish oil (Omega 3's) is something everyone should be taking. It is one of the good fats we don't get enough of anyway.

Wink

I'm taking beCalmd at the moment and am planning on adding omega 3 next week. I read some newsletters about ADD people not having the correct ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 (too much 6 not enough 3) and one of the symptoms is being thirsty a lot of the time. Anyone else have that symptom?? Just wondering... Well bye4now

My son (74 pounds) takes fish oil capsules (containing 240 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA per capsule) two times a day. They are pretty big to swallow, so instead my son likes to bite them open to get the oil out to swallow and then he just spits out the gelatin shell.
