Did I pass something on to my boyfriend?

I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year in a monogamous relationship. Before me, he had one sex partner and they were both virgins. Recently I have noticed a few bumps a little darker than his skin tone in the area above his penis (not on his penis), but below his stomach. It seems that one bump usually bleeds , then heals and flattens to the same level of the skin. We have never had unprotected sex and I have no presence of these bumps anywhere on me. What could this be?
