Post Hpv question?

Does Hpv cause a discharge and/or painful intercourse when i push on my cerivx it hurts or makes my insides hurt some could this be something else or what. I have been treated for yeast infection, but it seems like i can't get rid of it could this be the cause. Or is the virus causing the chronic yeast infection. I am so sick and tired of worrying about this disease i want to have children soon but am so scared that this disease has ruined my life. Please help if you can thanks.

As far as I know, HPV does NOT cause any discharge. The only symptom I know if is possibly warts, but not always. There could be no symptoms. Your cervix could be hurting from having intercourse if intercourse has been painful. Intercourse should not be painful though. Have you asked your doctor why this is happening? HPV does not prevent you from having children. I've been told that you CAN have children even if you have HPV. I had a LEEP procedure done, which has tiny, tiny risks for problems with pregnancy, like 1-2%. I don't think you should be worried as long as you're seeing a doctor and you find out what's wrong.

LEEP stands for Loop Electrosurgical Excisional Procedure. It's a procedure done to remove abnormal cells so they don't turn into cervical cancer.

I just learned that I have HPV and I have done alot of reading, and found out many diffrent things about it. I can say that it effect diffrently on diffrent people.

The best thing that you can do is contact your doctor and get it checked out...you dont have time to be shy about it either, just go and do it for it is YOUR life and your parnters as well....
