It is impossible to tell who you got it from (if it is that)........HPV lives under the skin and most times dont show no symptoms at all, but still can pass it through sexual contact without even realizing it (that is why it is so contagious). the only symptoms of is the warts and with abnormal papsmers.

my last sexual partner was over a year ago. my last check up was over a year ago and I was clean didnt have this at all, but just a couple of weeks ago, I got a growth removed and found out it was a wart, and that I have HPV (only in the anus....here is the funny thing I NEVER had sex in the back door before)....
The doctor told me that I could have had it for many many years and finally devoloped the symptom (wart)....

I wouldnt worry too much about it though.....wait til you get the results...and if it is so that it comes out that it is HPV dont stress about it...tell your partner (it is more than likely he has it too) and realize 80 percent have HPV and two thirds devolpe the symptoms......it is NOT the end of the world.....

If I were you just dont worry .....I stress out so bad that I devoloped boils on my face (the doc says it is from stressing out).....

just take it one day at a time.......first find out what it is...and then take it from there.

You welcome.

You know before I found out that I had HPV I didnt have this understanding of it. I knew OF it, but I guess since I have it I have a better understanding.

I hope you are doing well and good.

New to this site and very excited.
I was also diagnosed with HPV after having abnormal papsmear, but i have no visible signs whatsoever.. I had culposcopy and told that I have high risk HPV. However, I didn't get any medication and was told to come back after 6 months.

I have read all the articles about hpv but still, can't get enough of it. My boyfriend has visible wart and gets treated everytime he has one. I want to start a family but am worried if I can have virus free babies. I know its common disease but when you have it, it seems to be very difficult to handle.
Any suggestions?
