Question Acrylic nails

I started going to the nail salon and getting my white tip acrylics a year ago and i loved them.I don't like when the white starts to grow out and then you have to go back and get them off, soak them in,hate that.Well i took them off myslef this time,(what a pain in the ***)Anyway it is so hard to get them off.My real nails and the cuticles look so dried out.How can i keep my real nails look healthy, and take care of the dry skin?

It is never a good idea to remove the nails yourself. It is best to have them soaked off and not 'pried' off as this practice will also remove too many vital nail plate layers. To learn how to take care of your nails and to 'heal' the cuticles, please visit my website. The site is dedicated to education for professionals AND consumers. I don't sell anything, which is why my site has been approved by this board and I can add the link.

Also, why would she soak them off when the white grows out? Why not just rebalance and replace the white? It is much easier on your nails! Please check out my entire site before going to another salon -- that way you will be educated and know what to look for in a top quality salon. You might pay a little more, but it is worth it in the end to ensure good natural nail health.

I had the same problem, my natual nails were dry and they peeled, do your nails your self, they are very pretty and non expensive, I did and they allowed my natural nails to grow protected and moistened. They are not a pain in the butt and are easy. Go to Sallys beauty supply and buy them there.Good luck!
