Post Skin Problem - Please help thanks!

Hi:
Before I see a Dermatologist - maybe someone here can help me.

Above my left elbow is a red patch of skin - darker color than my arm. It is not dry or itchy but I feel like it burns from the inside of my skin if that makes any sense. It is more annoying than anything else but at times the burning sensation gets severe.

I put Cocoa Butter on it daily and my diet is healthy and also take Fish oils - Omega3-6.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be? Hate to pay a doc for something that is common but I dont have any itch or rash with it. Just the red skin and the burning underneath, sort of from the inside. Cocoa Butter is the only lotion I have found that does not irritate or burn the area.

Thanks in advance,
Wil
