Question Marti, can you answer a question about Jojoba?

Marti,
You have me convinced to buy botanical oil. My question is, in which step of my cleansing routine, should I use the Jojoba? I am currently using Proactiv. (only 4th day) Do I use it in place of my normal moisturizer? I have many red marks left from acne. I also flake constantly no matter what I do. Do you think this will help? And if you don't mind, can you possibly recommend the best way to exfoliate these flakes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Q: You have me convinced to buy botanical oil. My question is, in which step of my cleansing routine, should I use the Jojoba?

A: Rather than purchase Botanical Oil, purchase 100% Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E Oil from your local Health Food Store. Mix the 2 together in these proportions: 4oz of Jojoba to 1 or 1/2oz. vitamin E. The jojoba will help draw the healing properties of the vitamin E into your skin.

Q: I am currently using Proactiv. (only 4th day) Do I use it in place of my normal moisturizer? I have many red marks left from acne. I also flake constantly no matter what I do. Do you think this will help?

A: You can use the above oil mixture in place of any current moisturizer. Apply a few drops to your skin at least twice daily, and especially at night. You can apply a bit more at night than you do in the morning. The mixture will help to prevent any new acne from forming, help to get rid of any current acne, and the vitamin E will help with scaring.

Q: And if you don't mind, can you possibly recommend the best way to exfoliate these flakes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A: The best I can recommend to exfoliate your skin is for you to use an Oatmeal Bar to wash your face every day. It will help to get rid of the slakes - then follow with an application of the oil mixture.
