Help! What is this!?

Help, my dermatoligist told me that what I had was a wart..but the guy didn't even look at it, and I think he took word on what my sister said. But now, my wart remover stings my skin and the layer under the(redish part) is showing!

I stopped using it and washed it off.

I'll describe it: It's on the joint of my fingers, the middle part. It's a bump..thickened layer of my skin and it's kind of hard. It's either normal colored or reddish..kind of. It's not a califlower or brown(as warts are described as) it's just a increase layer of skin on my joint. what is it?!

Is it on the inside of your hand or the outside? If on the inside it is probably a callous.

outside, it kind of disfigures the skin pattern thingy..

i think you should go get a 2nd opinion from a different dermatologist if that one barely looked at it...
